This is the new Artura Spider MCL39 Championship Edition - and it’s McLaren’s pat on the back for a job well done in F1 last season.
Last year saw McLaren claiming its 10th World Constructors’ Championship while Lando Norris also secured the 2025 Drivers’ Championship.
And to mark the twin triumphs, McLaren has launched a special edition version of its Artura Spider that will be limited to just 10 customer cars.
Here’s everything you need to know:

What is the McLaren Artura Spider MCL39 Championship Edition?
The MCL39 Championship Edition takes the regular McLaren Artura (the one with a retractable hardtop) and adds a healthy dollop of bespoke detailing and exclusivity.
A hand-painted livery features ‘10’ detailing both inside and out while the custom orange and black paint scheme pays homage to the MCL39 F1 race car.

There are also graphic depictions of every McLaren Formula 1 car to win a Constructors’ Championship, going all the way back to 1974.
There are 10-spoke lightweight forged alloy wheels in gloss black, complemented with orange brake callipers. You also get McLaren’s Sports Exhaust with Stealth Exhaust Finisher.
Every car gets a custom plaque on the centre console while the interior boasts black Alcantara and Nappa leather with orange piping.

There’s another plaque in the luggage compartment that lists every win, pole and fastest lap secured by McLaren in the 2025 season.
What’s more, every car will also be hand-signed by McLaren drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri.

What power does the McLaren Artura Spider MCL39 Championship Edition have?
Like the regular McLaren Artura Spider, the MCL39 special edition is underpinned by a high performance hybrid powertrain.
Specifically, it’s a plug-in hybrid (3.0-litre V6 with a 7.4 kWh battery) with 700 PS, 720 Nm of torque, and which can accelerate from 0-62mph in 3.0 seconds flat.
On top of that, you also get an EV driving mode that will cover around 20 miles.

What much does the McLaren Artura Spider MCL39 Championship Edition cost?
McLaren hasn’t revealed prices for the Artura Spider MCL39 Championship Edition.
The regular Artura Spider begins at around £222,000 so you can expect the Championship Edition to nudge (at least) into the £250,000-plus bracket.
