Lamborghini prepares to unleash new Temerario

  • Lamborghini Temerario nears UK roads
  • First deliveries due Jan 2026
  • Replaces Lambo Huracan
  • Plug-in hybrid supercar gets 920 PS - way more than Huracan
  • UK still a key market for Italian manufacturer

The plug-in hybrid Lamborghini Temerario has almost arrived - and here it is having a blast in the snowy French Alps!

The Temerario is Lamborghini’s new plug-in hybrid supercar and one that replaces the outgoing Huracan.

The first customer deliveries are due in January 2026 and Lambo says the UK remains a key market in terms of sales.

To show you just what the Temerario is capable of, it’s seen here blatting about Les Trois Vallées - the ‘Three Valleys’ of the French Alps that connect world-famous ski resorts like Courchevel, Méribel, and Val Thorens.

The icy outing came as Lamborghini brought together a team of inspirational women, as part of its #SheDrivesaLambo project, which included mountaineer Anja Blacha, the youngest German woman to climb Everest and who also summited K2 in 2019 without supplementary oxygen.

If the Temerario can rise to those heights, it’ll have no trouble competing with the Ferrari 296 GTB.

What is the Lamborghini Temerario and how powerful is it?

The Temerario is a ‘High Performance Electrified Vehicle' (HPEV) that joins Lamborghini’s line-up of plug-in hybrid vehicles alongside the Revuelto and the Urus SE.

It’s underpinned by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 that’s paired with three electric motors to produce a whopping 920 PS.

That’s LOADS more than the old Huracan (which is being replaced by the Temerario) which could muster peak power of 640 PS via its 5.2-litre V10.

The Temerario is rapid, accelerating from 0-62 mph in 2.7 seconds and then on to a top speed of 210 mph.

It’ll also rev to oblivion in a big shouty din, with Lamborghini boasting that it’s the ‘first and only production super sports car able to reach 10,000 rpm’.

It’s priced from around £260,000 in the UK, which is similar to the Ferrari 296 GTB (another plug-in hybrid) and pricier than a McLaren Artura (yep, also a PHEV).

Do Lamborghinis sell well in the UK?

Yep, Brits with deep pockets appear to be key customers for Lamborghini.

The firm tells us how the UK consistently maintains its place in Lamborghini’s top five global markets, along with the USA, Germany, Italy and Japan.

Exclusivity is a ‘core principle’ and an average 12-month lead time across its products keeps punters coming back for more.

Lamborghini also recently opened Lamborghini Mayfair, the UK’s twelfth showroom location, while aftersales support was also expanded in Leeds and Pangbourne, Berks.

Davide Sfrecola, who took over as head of Lamborghini UK in 2025, says: “Lamborghini enters 2026 in this market with the most comprehensive hybridized super sports car offering in our segment. Importantly, Lamborghini’s appeal with our clients, for our models’ infamous design and benchmarking performance, is enhanced by our hybridization programme, with technologies making our cars easier and more fun to drive but as emotionally charged as ever. This year has witnessed new products, important customer and public events, and expansion of our UK network, and 2026 will see an exciting evolution of the same.”
