- New Hyundai Ioniq 6 N teased
- Set for full reveal in July at the Goodwood Festival of Speed
- Power details still to be revealed
- Will be ‘Corner Rascal’ and ‘Everyday Sports Car’

Here it is, the new Hyundai Ioniq 6 N - a high-performance EV that’s set to disrupt the entire segment when it arrives later this year.
When Hyundai revealed an updated, more athletic-looking Ioniq 6 earlier this year, the Korean firm also let slip that a full-on ‘N’ version would follow on.
And here’s your first look at it, with Hyundai teasing these debut pics ahead of a full reveal at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July.

So far, we know very little about the Ioniq 6 N, other than the fact we can see an aggressive rear wing and full-blooded body kit in these first-look images. Hyundai is still to tell us how much power and pace the 6 N will have.
But if the 6 N is anything like the Ioniq 5 N, it’ll be one of the finest performance EVs we’ve ever seen.
Like the Ioniq 5 N, the 6 N will be built around three core performance pillars - ‘Corner Rascal’, ’Racetrack Capability’ and ‘Everyday Sports Car’.

Hyundai promises ‘high-speed stability through intensive aerodynamic development’, with Joon Park, Vice President and Head of N Management Group, adding: “Ioniq 6 N will once again disrupt the high-performance EV segment to deliver exciting driving experiences to our fans. We chose to debut the Ioniq 6 N at Goodwood Festival of Speed to be as close to our fans as possible.”
So, what sort of stats does the Ioniq 6 N have to live up to?

(Hyundai Press)
Its SUV sibling, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N (pictured above), has power of 650 PS, 770 Nm of torque, and can accelerate from 0-62 mph in a faintly ridiculous 3.4 seconds. We expect the Ioniq 6 N, with its more slippery and aerodynamic shape, to move even quicker.
You can also expect an ‘N Grin Shift’ button, which provides a 20-second burst of additional power, and a dedicated ‘Drift’ mode.
