Sun’s out, roof’s off - it’s convertible leasing time!
Nothing says ‘warm weather’ quite like being able to enjoy open-top motoring.
And, as luck would have it, you can lease a roof-down roadster right here at Select Car Leasing.
There are lots of different types of convertibles to savour. Some have folding fabric roofs that disappear at the touch of a button, some are effortlessly opened by hand, and some simply slide back on rails to reveal the sunshine (or grey clouds, depending on the vagaries of the Great British weather…) above.
Convertible leasing also runs the whole gamut of budgets, from the affordable to the exotic.
Some of the cars listed here could be delivered as soon as July*, giving you plenty of time to hit the road in the hottest months of the year.
Check out our latest convertible lease deals below:
MINI Convertible | C Classic | £282.77 per month*
You’ve been able to drive a convertible version of the MINI hatchback since 2004 - and the appeal remains strong to this day, with the pint-sized rag-top having been relaunched and revamped last year.
This deal puts you behind the wheel of a ‘C’ model with a 161 PS petrol engine and which can accelerate the Convertible from 0-62 mph in 8.2 seconds.
Trademark MINI go-kart handling is a given and you still get a decent 215 litres of luggage space with the roof up.
Mazda MX-5 RF | Prime-Line | £284.07 per month*
The Mazda MX-5 comes in two distinct flavours. One gets a traditional fabric roof that can be folded away by hand in a matter of seconds.
The other version - this one - is called a ‘Retractable Fastback’, or ‘RF’ and which has a hard roof that folds into the rear at the touch of a button, leaving behind a Porsche-like Targa top.
A 1.5-litre engine and power of 132 PS doesn’t sound like a lot, but in a car this light, it’s more than ample. Read our Mazda MX-5 owners report here.
Abarth 500e | Turismo | £347.21 per month
The Abarth 500e differs from some of the other convertibles you see here by being both electric AND by featuring a fabric roof that slides back on rails.
The bona fide hot-hatch gets a 42.2 kWh battery that provides a range of up to 150 miles between charges as well as raucous road thrills.
And because the roof itself simply slides rear-wards, leaving behind the car’s original structure, you don’t have to compromise on boot space (which is already admittedly small in a dinky car like this!)
BMW Z4 | S Drive 20i M Sport | £512.78 per month*
BMW’s highly-distinctive Z4 is tipped to bow-out of the German firm’s line-up in 2026.
So, the window in which you drive a new one is dwindling, and if you fancy getting behind the wheel of a Z4, now might be the time to act.
With this particular ‘sDrive 20i M Sport’ model, a 2.0-litre petrol engine unlocks 192 hp and the ability to accelerate from 0-62 mph in 6.6 seconds.
You also get BMW’s M Sport suspension and leather seats.
BMW 4 Series Convertible | 420i M Sport | £553.31 per month*
While the BMW Z4 is a two-seat roadster, the BMW 4 Series Convertible adds a dollop more practicality by featuring two proper seats in the back.
This ‘420i’ variant offers power of 184 hp, an eight-speed automatic gearbox with paddle shifters, and a 50/50 weight distribution for confidence-inspiring handling.
Ford Mustang Convertible | V8 GT | £715.51 per month*
The Ford Mustang has been available as a convertible for more than 60 years, going right back to the car’s debut in 1964.
It’s safe to say there’s nothing else on UK roads that quite matches the ‘Stang experience. And if you really want to listen to the roar of that 5.0-litre V8 engine, going roofless is the way forward.
This deal is for a Mustang Convertible with the desirable manual box, which lets you row through the gears as you accelerate from 0-62 mph in 5.4 seconds.
