- Diesel or electric powertrain
- Full body kit
- Power of 180 PS (diesel) or 136 PS (electric)

Citroen has added a sporty new range-topper to its mid-size van line-up with the launch of the Dispatch VTR.
The VTR badge harks back to some of Citroen’s most successful hot hatches, including the Saxo, C2 and Xsara, although it hung around as little more than a trim level until 2018.

Available as a panel van or crew van, the Dispatch VTR stands out from the crowd with a full body kit, including a front lip spoiler, side skirts, rear bumper trim and a roof-mounted spoiler. It also gets 18-inch diamond-cut alloys, three colour options – including a new Blue Lagoon shade – and a set of contrasting decals down the side.

The cab ambience is enhanced by eco-leather seats featuring red stitching and a perforated finish, designed to resist wear and tear while adding a touch of luxury. Standard equipment includes dual-zone climate control, keyless entry, wireless phone charging, and, on the optional Winter Pack, heated seats and steering wheel.
Two powertrains are available: a 2.0-litre BlueHDi 180 diesel with an eight-speed automatic gearbox and up to 1,305kg payload, or the electric e-Dispatch VTR with a 75kWh battery, 230-mile range, power of 136 PS and 1,001kg payload.

Prices start at £42,745 plus VAT for the diesel model and £46,845 for the electric van, after the government’s plug-in van grant. Crew Van versions carry a £2,700 premium.
Citroen UK’s managing director Greg Taylor described the new VTR as a ‘halo vehicle’ for its van range, saying it’s designed to bring “fun and accessibility to the commercial vehicle market through stand-out sporty styling that lives up to the heritage of the iconic VTR name.”

It also arrives just as the manufacturer prepares to return to motorsport with a new Formula E team.
