KGM has confirmed that a new version of its Musso pick-up is on the way, with the updated model set to arrive in 2026.
The first official hint came in a corporate video from the Korean manufacturer, offering a brief look at the forthcoming truck.
Details remain scarce, but the footage shows a tougher design that clearly moves the Musso forward. The front end gets a bold makeover, with a full-width light bar, distinctive daytime running lights and chunky bumpers giving it a more substantial presence on the road. Fresh alloy wheels and heavy side cladding add to the impression that this Musso is built to look as rugged as it feels.
At the back, the new Musso borrows design cues from the recently revealed Musso EV, with vertical LED lights and large KGM lettering stamped across the tailgate, which helps give the truck a sharper, more modern look.
Underneath, though, this isn’t an electric pickup. We expect the new Musso to retain its diesel engine when it arrives, offering a traditional alternative to the Musso EV. That means it should continue to appeal to drivers who need a workhorse for towing, hauling or off-road use, but aren’t ready to make the switch to electric just yet.
While full specifications haven’t been released, the launch is planned for 2026. Expect more details on engines — which we suspect will be the same as the 2.2-litre unit fitted to the pick-up now — towing and payload closer to the official unveiling, but for now, this first look confirms that diesel power still has a place in KGM’s plans.
