- Leapmotor C10- everything you need to know
- On special offer with Select Car Leasing
- Lease the Leapmotor C10 from £176.92* per month
- Affordable Tesla Model Y and Skoda Enyaq alternative
You might not be familiar with the Leapmotor C10 - but here are 6 reasons why you should lease this unsung electric SUV.
Leapmotor is new to the UK car leasing scene, with the Chinese manufacturer having arrived in March 2025.
The firm launched with two cars - the T03 urban run-about and the more luxurious C10 SUV. Both are electric, and both offer some serious bang for your buck.
And right now we’ve got a Leapmotor C10 special offer we reckon you won’t want to miss.
For £176.92* per month (including VAT), you can get behind the wheel of this sleek, sophisticated SUV. That’s on a 24-month contract, covering 5,000 miles per year, and with an initial payment of £1,592.28.
But what exactly is the Leapmotor C10 and why would you want to drive one? Read on to find out - and prepare to have your expectations challenged:
The Leapmotor C10 offers serious value for money
The Leapmotor C10 is a medium sized electric SUV that’s extremely similar in size to the Tesla Model Y while being slightly larger than other electric rivals like the Skoda Enyaq and Renault Scenic E-Tech.
You get acres of legroom in the back and a decent 435-litre boot.
So, the C10 will tick a lot of boxes for anyone looking for a practical family car with a commanding, raised view of the road ahead.
Yet the Leapmotor C10 can (at the time of writing) be leased for less than half the price of the Tesla Model Y while proving around £100 cheaper per month than the Renault or Skoda.
The Leapmotor C10 has a range of up to 263 miles between charges
The electric Leapmotor C10 is underpinned by a 69.9 kWh battery that’s paired with a rear electric motor. You get a range of up to 263 miles between charges - which falls short of some rivals but is actually on a par with some of the entry-level models offered by more mainstream alternatives.
The base Skoda Enyaq, for example, has a range of up to 269 miles between charges while the cheapest Ford Explorer can journey around 233 miles between trips to the plug.
So, when put into the context of affordability, the Leapmotor C10 performs well.
Fast-charging capability delivers 30–80% charge in just 30 minutes (84 kW DC maximum), and an AC full charge (30–80%) takes about 6.1 hours.
The Leapmotor C10 is quick off the mark
While not the fastest electric SUV out there, the Leapmotor C10 is still more than quick enough for most drivers. Power of 218 hp is sent to the rear wheels and results in a 0-62 mph time of 7.5 seconds, which makes the C10 quicker than the base Skoda Enyaq.
There’s just one trim level with the Leapmotor C10
Trim levels can be confusing, particularly when you’ve then got to choose which additional ‘packs’ you want to add to your lease.
With the Leapmotor C10, picking your preferred model is a doddle - because there’s just one. Rather than messing around with grades, Leapmotor has instead chucked every bit of kit it could find at the all-singing, all-dancing C10.
All models come with 20-inch alloys, dual-zone air con, rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, a 12-speaker audio system, 14.6-inch touchscreen with sat nav, heated and ventilated seats, a heated steering wheel, synthetic leather upholstery, and a fixed panoramic sunroof. A heat pump (which boosts an EV’s efficiency) is included as standard and you also get a full suite of driver assistance and safety tech including adaptive cruise control and lane centring.
The no cost paint option is a lovely pearlescent ‘Glazed Green’.
Ex-footballer Michael Owen has got a Leapmotor C10
If the Leapmotor C10 is good enough for one of the most decorated footballers in Premier League history, it could be good enough for you.
Back in February this year, ex-Liverpool and Manchester United striker Owen took delivery of the first C10 to arrive in the UK.
He said at the time: “I’m delighted to be the first Leapmotor customer in the UK. The C10 is a stunning looking car and is the perfect car for me and my family with some incredible tech, ample space and a reassuring top level safety rating.”

Leapmotor is backed by Stellantis
Okay, so you’ve never heard of Leapmotor and you might be a bit hesitant to lease one of their cars. But we’re here to offer some reassurance.
You’re no doubt familiar with brands like Citroen, Peugeot, Vauxhall and Alfa Romeo. They’re all part of the multinational manufacturing corporation Stellantis.
And so is Leapmotor, having been brought into the Stellantis fold as part of efforts to accelerate sales outside of China.
So, while Leapmotor is a newcomer, you’re backed by Stellantis’ established sales, parts and servicing network as well as strong warranty coverage and technical support.
