Vauxhall Unveils Mokka GSE

  • New Vauxhall Mokka GSE
  • High performance electric crossover
  • Power of 280hp and 345 Nm torque
  • 0-62 mph in 5.9 seconds
  • Goes on sale later this year

Vauxhall has officially lifted the lid on the Mokka GSE – a performance-focused electric crossover that brings rally-inspired engineering and design to UK roads.

Touted as the fastest battery-electric Vauxhall ever made, the Mokka GSE delivers a potent mix of speed, precision handling, and dramatic styling.

At the heart of the new Mokka GSE is a 280 hp (207kW) electric powertrain that produces 345 Nm of torque, enabling the car to sprint from 0-62mph in just 5.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 124mph.

A 54kWh lithium-ion battery provides the juice, with three selectable driving modes - Sport, Normal, and Eco - balancing performance and efficiency.

Performance isn’t limited to straight-line speed. The Mokka GSE features a chassis that sits 10mm lower than the standard Mokka Electric, with uprated suspension and a newly engineered steering system for sharper responsiveness.

A mechanical limited-slip differential and specially tuned axles boost traction and agility, while stopping power comes courtesy of 380mm Alcon brakes with bold yellow four-piston callipers.

The dynamic enhancements are inspired by the prototype Mokka GSE Rally, from which the road-going version borrows several high-voltage components - including the motor, inverter, and battery wiring harness.

With a kerb weight under 1.6 tonnes, Vauxhall claims the Mokka GSE is one of the most agile EVs in its class.

Visually, the GSE sets itself apart with an aggressive redesign featuring rally-style front and rear aprons, unique GSE badging, and striking yellow and black accents.

Aero-optimised 20-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport EV tyres are exclusive to this model, enhancing both performance and road presence.

Inside, the motorsport theme continues with Alcantara-trimmed sports seats featuring integrated headrests, yellow contrast stitching, and a distinctive white central stripe.

A flat-bottomed steering wheel, aluminium pedals, and GSE-specific digital displays round out the interior upgrades.

Further details on pricing and availability are expected soon.
