The UK’s newest pick-up - the GWM POER300 - is now officially available to lease, with prices from just £254 per month, ex VAT*.
If you’re not afraid to stray from the beaten path when it comes to your leasing choices, the POER300 makes a hell of a lot of sense.
Pronounced ‘Power 300’, the double-cab POER300 is underpinned by a traditional 2.4 litre diesel engine that develops 183 PS and 480 Nm of torque.
You get a 9-speed automatic gearbox and full-time 4x4 transmission with low-range capability for when the going gets really tough.
And with a proper 1,000 kg payload and 3,500 kg towing capacity, the POER300 should prove just as capable as more mainstream rivals.
Chinese manufacturer GWM is no stranger to the UK leasing market; it already offers passenger cars like the Ora 03 and the Haval Jolion Pro. The POER300 is GWM’s first foray into the UK pick-up scene.
Our best-value deal is for the entry-level ‘Lux’ trim. But the term ‘entry level’ is underselling the POER300 by a good distance.
You’ll enjoy 18-inch alloys, synthetic leather seats, side steps and roof rails, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, 7.0-inch digital cockpit, rear parking sensors, wireless charging, and intelligent all-terrain modes that include Normal, Eco, Sport, Snow, Mud, Sand.
The off-road specs are also impressive, with a 27° approach angle, 25° departure angle, 230 mm of ground clearance, and an electric rear differential lock.
At this price, it’s a pick-up not to be missed.
