If you love the Porsche Taycan, you’re in good company - because so does pop star Dua Lipa.
The British-Albanian singer has just joined forces with Porsche as part of an exciting, and yet to be revealed, promotion campaign.
And before that all kicks off, the 28-year-old Cold Heart singer took time out from her busy showbiz schedule to test drive the all-electric Taycan and the iconic 911 Turbo S at the Porsche Experience Center in Los Angeles, USA.
A Porsche spokesperson revealed: “Dua Lipa has always been a fan of sports cars – and the Porsche brand in particular. Which is why the singer-songwriter and the sports car manufacturer are joining forces. After attending the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans in the summer, the now 28-year-old has immersed herself in the world of racing and Porsche's unique history. At the Porsche Experience Center in Los Angeles, she had the opportunity to experience the thrill of driving a Porsche for herself, when she got behind the wheel of an all-electric Taycan and both a current and historic 911.”
It’s not the first time Lipa has been involved in the automotive world. Back in 2018, she teamed-up with Jaguar to use tech from the I-PACE to remix one of her tracks, Want To. She’s also recently owned a Jaguar F-Type roadster.
And you can’t really blame the artist for now being drawn to Porsche’s finest.
The Taycan, in particular, is hot property in the leasing world right now.
