Seat Frequently Asked Questions
Bright, vibrant, affordable and fun - those are the words that best sum-up Seat’s range of lease cars. There are efficient and youthful hatchbacks, in the form the compact Ibiza and the medium-sized Leon, and there’s also a great selection of SUVs, from the Arona crossover to the full-fat Tarraco. And remember that because Seat is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, tried and tested German underpinnings also make Seat vehicles reliable, too.
Look no further than the Ateca - a medium-sized SUV crossover - for one of Seat’s most popular models. It’s a rival to the VW Tiguan or Skoda Karoq, the Ateca is spacious, practical, boasts a large 510 litre boot, and perhaps most importantly, is affordable for families working to a tight budget. The Seat Leon is also a do-it-all crowd-pleaser, which is also available as a more practical-still estate variant. Recent reviews pitting the Leon against the VW Golf show there’s little between the two vehicles, which is testament to the Leon’s build quality and design.
A Seat lease is an extremely safe one. Recent tests by the safety assessor Euro NCAP awarded the full five stars to the Ibiza, Arona, Tarraco, and Leon. And in terms of practicalities, there’s a highly-efficient ‘e-HYBRID’ plug-in hybrid powertrain to enjoy with the Leon, which promises a range of up to 40 miles using battery power alone.
The Ibiza is Seat’s most affordable vehicle to lease, and it’s a car that makes a great alternative to the Volkswagen Polo, Skoda Fabia or the Hyundai i20. It’s compact yet spacious, cheap to lease yet still fun to drive, and even base models come loaded with tech such as cruise control, an 8.25 inch infotainment screen, and a flat-bottomed, leather steering wheel.
Seat pitches its cars at a wide demographic, so there’s a lease vehicle to fall within most budgets. The cheapest lease deals belong to the compact Ibiza hatchback while up-market Tarraco is a large SUV to rival the Skoda Kodiaq or Peugeot 5008. Keep an eye on our deals pages for the most enticing monthly prices, or have a chat with one of our specialist consultants.
Seat belongs to the Volkswagen Group, so you might also be considering cars from VW. Also take a look at alternatives from Skoda, Peugeot, Hyundai and Kia.
I contact select car leasing after I had seen a particular deal that looked to be in stock and the price was competitive. I was able to find out that the car was indeed in stock (always worth checking) in particular colours and in the country too which meant we were able to take delivery of the car in around 3 weeks which was great as we needed it as soon as possible.
Ross Hamilton, the agent who looked after the whole process was incredibly professional and communicated really well to ensure that I was kept up to date. Even when my delivery was delayed due to the car having some damage, he ensured that I was kept informed, and helped me to get Mercedes to supply a hire car.
First class from start to finish. Adam understood our requirements and worked hard to accommodate in a very difficult climate. Highly recommended!
