- New Fenomeno Roadster revealed
- Most powerful open-top model ever produced by Lamborghini
- Oomph of 1,065 hp, 0-62mph in 2.4 seconds
- Plug-in hybrid powertrain keeps the V12 alive
- Sibling car to Fenomeno Coupe
- Only 15 units will be built

Lamborghini has unleashed its most powerful ever open-top model - the aviation-inspired Fenomeno Roadster.
The Raging Bull brand is determined to keep its legendary, naturally aspirated V12 engine alive by bolting modern electrification to it.
Just look at the recent Lamborghini Revuelto, a ground-breaking HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle) which combines a 6.5-litre V12 with three electric motors and a rechargeable battery pack.

The Fenomeno Roadster, sibling car to the Fenomeno Coupe, follows suit with the same powertrain while upping the oomph to 1,065 hp.
Just 15 units will be built - at an estimated cost north of £3.5m quid each.

How fast is the Lamborghini Fenomeno Roadster?
Performance is predictably savage.
Lamborghini claims 0-62mph in just 2.4 seconds, 0-124mph in 6.8 seconds, and a top speed beyond 211mph.
Those figures are virtually identical to the Fenomeno Coupe.

They put the Fenomeno Roadster firmly in hypercar territory - with that screaming naturally aspirated V12 delivering 823 hp on its own at a spine-tingling 9,250 rpm.
Lamborghini uses two front-mounted electric motors plus a third motor integrated with the gearbox to sharpen torque delivery, enable electric driving capability, and maximise traction through advanced torque vectoring.
Don’t expect a vast EV range beyond a few miles - but few Lambo owners will care a jot.

Fenomeno Roadster: “A collectible masterpiece”, according to Lamborghini
Visually, the Fenomeno Roadster looks like a fighter jet without a canopy.
Lamborghini has reworked the Coupe’s aerodynamics to preserve identical downforce despite the missing roof, with a new windscreen-mounted aero blade, reshaped engine cooling channels, and integrated rollover protection that doubles as airflow management.

The result is dramatic even by Lamborghini standards; an ultra-flat silhouette, aggressive hexagonal design language, deep rear diffuser, and high-mounted exhaust that looks more prototype racer than road car.
Design cues pull from the Essenza SCV12, 1970s endurance racers, and even the original Miura Roadster.

Inside, Lamborghini leans hard into its ‘Feel Like a Pilot’ mantra.
Carbon fibre, Carbon Skin, Corsatex trim, aviation-style switchgear and triple digital displays create a cockpit that’s impossible not to gawp at.

Beneath the surface, the Fenomeno Roadster’s new multi-technology carbon-fibre monofuselage chassis is just as significant. Borrowing structural ideas from aerospace and the Revuelto, Lamborghini says it delivers coupe-like rigidity with only minimal weight gain despite the open roof.
