Jeep has revealed a series of trail-devouring concept models - including a two-seat Wrangler ‘Buzzcut’ and a retro Cherokee that’s pure 1980s.
Five new creations have been unveiled ahead of the annual Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah, USA.
It’s a bash hosted by the Red Rock 4-Wheelers off-road club and sees Jeep customers and off-road enthusiasts come together to celebrate all things all-terrain.

The concepts themselves have been created by Jeep in collaboration with Jeep Performance Parts (JPP) by Mopar and ‘define the future of off-roading’, according to the brand.
Bob Broderdorf, CEO of the Jeep brand, added: “Easter Jeep Safari has shaped the Jeep brand for decades, fuelling the evolution of our 4x4 vehicles and strengthening our bond with the community and the thousands of passionate Jeep enthusiasts who return year after year. To commemorate decades of off-road pioneering, we’re showcasing an exclusive lineup of Jeep concept and production vehicles, new immersive experiences and consumer activations, all to showcase the full depth of our off-road capability and reflect the core of who we are.”

Here’s what Jeep has come up with:
The Jeep Wrangler Buzzcut

This concept blends compact, sporty, two-seat design with extreme capability and expanded storage for longer adventures.

The Wrangler you can lease here in the UK is a four-door vehicle with a much longer wheelbase, making the Buzzcut a unique and agile rock hopper.
The Jeep XJ Pioneer
.jpg)
The XJ Pioneer is based on a 1984 Jeep Cherokee and has been created to mark the return of that nameplate in 2026 (it’s coming back as a hybrid this year but hasn’t yet been earmarked for a UK launch - boo).

And if you recognise the shape of this particular Cherokee, chances are you’ve seen the classic 1985 flick The Goonies - in which the Fratelli brothers drive a bullet-riddled 1984 Jeep Cherokee XJ in their hunt for lost pirate treasure.

Look closely and you’ll even see a snap of Mama Fratelli (played by the late Anne Ramsey) in the 80s-tastic cabin.
The Jeep Wrangler Anvil 715

This is a purpose-built vision of what an overland‑focused Wrangler can be. Jeep says it’s ‘capable, intentional and thoughtfully engineered without unnecessary bulk’.
The Jeep Grand Wagoneer Commander
.jpg)
Not to be confused with the electric Jeep Wagoneer that’s due to arrive later this year, the Grand Wagoneer is a traditionally-fuelled, three-row luxury SUV designed for families.

This ‘Commander’ variant blends premium materials and tech with some serious off-road skills. It’ll also tow a dedicated trail rig.
The Jeep Wrangler Laredo

This concept pares the Wrangler back to its core and then ‘amplifies its character’, according to Jeep. It’s said to have a ‘classic Jeep brand attitude’, with subtle cues that nod toward how the Laredo line might evolve.
