- Vauxhall Corsa GSE revealed in full for first time
- Electric hot-hatch - most powerful Corsa ever
- Undergoing final testing at Germany’s Nürburgring race track
- Will offer ‘thrilling performance for the road’
- Premieres at the Paris Motor Show in October 2026

Here’s your first proper look at the incoming Vauxhall Corsa GSE, as it tears around Germany’s Nürburgring race circuit.
Vauxhall teased its Corsa GSE hot hatch last month, billing it as a fully electric successor to cars like the Corsa GSi and Corsa VXR from yesteryear.
Up until now we’ve only seen a close up image of the Corsa GSE’s front wheel.
But here it is in full, albeit still wearing a disguised paint scheme to hide its lines.

When will the Vauxhall Corsa GSE launch?
At the time of writing, we still don’t know a vast amount about the Vauxhall Corsa GSE.
It’ll be fully electric, and it’ll be the most powerful Corsa ever created.
But we won’t know precise details until later in the year, with the Corsa GSE poised to be premiered at the Paris Motor Show 2026 in October.

What performance will the Vauxhall Corsa GSE have?
Again, detailed performance figures for the Corsa GSE are still under wraps.
Marcus Lott, Stellantis SVP Lead Engineering, said: “The Corsa GSE will be the next addition to the GSE family. We want everybody to enjoy all-electric hot hatch performance and exciting driving dynamics. That’s why we specifically travelled to the Nürburgring to put the final touches on the set-up. I am sure that everybody will enjoy the driving pleasure it will offer.”
The Corsa GSE will come with a sport chassis with specific throttle, steering, and ESC (Electronic Stability Control) tuning in order to give it ‘thrilling performance on the road’, says Vauxhall.

There’s already one electric ‘GSE’ model in the Vauxhall family - the Mokka GSE.
That electric crossover gets power of 280hp, is able to sprint from 0-62mph in 5.9 seconds, and also comes with a Torsen multi-plate limited-slip differential to enhance its hoonigan credentials.
Can’t wait until October to get your mitts on an electric hot hatch?
Rivals to the Vauxhall Corsa GSE will include the award-winning Alpine A290, MINI Cooper Electric John Cooper Works, and the inbound Peugeot E-208 GTi and VW ID. Polo GTI.
