About the Alpine A290 hatchback
Alpine is the performance division for French manufacturer Renault.
And the Alpine A290 is Alpine’s own inimitable take on the multi award-winning Renault 5 E-Tech.
While the Renault 5 makes do with power of 150 PS, the Alpine A290 ups that to a maximum of 220 PS while also boasting more aggressive exterior styling.
The Alpine A290 gets a range of up to 236 miles between charges while being capable of accelerating from 0-62 mph in 6.4 seconds. All models get an efficiency-boosting heat pump.

The GT Premium grade adds Nappa leather upholstery, an uprated sound system, blue brake calipers, and bi-colour roof.
GT Performance
GT Performance models boast Michelin Pilot Sport tyres, black monograms, red brake calipers, and Alpine Telemetrics. GT Performance variants also get the more powerful 220 PS drivetrain.
GTS
An Alpine A290 lease in GTS trim unlocks black wheels, sports tyres, lumbar seat adjustment, and Alpine Telemetrics for the track.
Premiere Edition
The range-topping Premiere Edition features style flourishes inside and out, including unique carpeting and blue steering wheel centre cap. It also comes with the Alpine ‘Safety Pack’ (lane departure prevention when overtaking, safe occupant exit alert) and the ‘Driving Pack’ (adaptive cruise with lane centring, hands-free parking).
