Isuzu has been going full-throttle into brand partnerships in 2025, extending and expanding a wide range of sponsorships that put its go-anywhere D-Max pick-up at the heart of the British outdoors.
From grassroots football at Wembley to mud-drenched obstacle courses and rural country shows, Isuzu is making sure its rugged pick-ups are front and centre wherever performance, durability and community matter most.

Non-league football: Isuzu extends FA Vase and FA Trophy deal
The brand’s commitment to grassroots football continues with a renewed deal as title partner of The FA Vase and The FA Trophy, extending its support through to the 2027/28 season. The partnership, which began in 2022, ensures that non-league teams will continue to have their moment under the Wembley arch, with the recent Finals Day drawing over 38,000 fans to the national stadium.
More than just putting up logos and banners, Isuzu has been encouraging local involvement through its network of over 90 dealers, many of whom sponsor community clubs.

Making tracks: Tough Mudder and Spartan Race partnerships extended
For those who like their sport a little messier, Isuzu has also confirmed it will continue as the Official Automotive Partner of Tough Mudder into 2025. The partnership – now in its seventh year – will again see the D-Max take on the infamous ‘Mud Mile’ and support event logistics across all UK venues.

Similarly, Isuzu is back on board with Spartan Race for 2025, fielding its extreme D-Max Arctic Trucks AT35 as both support vehicle and brand showpiece. Outfitted with 35-inch tyres and Bilstein suspension, the AT35 will be on duty at every event, including the likes of Belvoir Castle, Hopetoun Estate, and Badminton. It’s the third year running that the AT35 has been part of the Spartan setup, earning admiration from racers and organisers alike.

Into the countryside: Game Fair and Scottish Game Fair partnership announced
Looking beyond sport, Isuzu has signed on as the Official Vehicle Partner for The Game Fair and Scottish Game Fair in 2025. These iconic countryside events celebrate everything from field sports and rural life to sustainable land management — a natural fit for the hardworking, load-lugging D-Max.
Visitors will find the D-Max working behind the scenes as part of the event operations team, but also on display for off-road driving experiences, giving attendees a chance to try out hill descent control, rear diff lock and Rough Terrain Mode in action.

Isuzu is also taking on headline sponsorship duties for major competitions, including the Gundog Championships, the Home International Team Competition, and the Game Fair Challenge – the latter offering a D-Max to the winning clay shooter for a six-month stint.
“These events are a perfect match for our brand and our customers – people who live, breathe and work in the countryside,” said George Wallis, head of marketing at Isuzu UK.

One truck, many terrains
Whether it's backing local football, powering obstacle races, or showing off its off-road muscle in the countryside, Isuzu is going all in on aligning the D-Max with the UK’s toughest, muddiest, and most community-driven events.
It’s a strategy that could pay off in both visibility and authenticity. By embedding the D-Max in events that mirror its perceived core strengths, Isuzu isn’t just sponsoring weekends but putting its pickup exactly where it belongs.
While the D-Max pick-up gains incremental improvements each year, the forthcoming battery-powered D-Max EV represents a more significant step forward, and it looks like it could steal a march on its rivals when it arrives next year.
