The brilliant Isuzu D-Max has enjoyed a major facelift for 2021,coming with bold new styling and improved off-road performance. A new 4x4 system and a fresh suspension joins a list of improvements on previous models that also includes better road and noise sound-proofing to boost driver satisfaction, as well as new speed-sensitive electronic power steering which boosts manoeuvrability and accuracy.

Meanwhile all models get copious amounts of kit - including cruise control, forward collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, traffic sign recognition, intelligent speed limiter and a lane departure warning and prevention system.

The interior has also been ‘transformed’, with a new dashboard design and soft-touch panelling, while mid-range ‘DL40’ models also get a 7 inch infotainment touchscreen along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

And a diesel engine delivers 164PS and 360Nm of torque and is mated to a choice of either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox.
