Stellantis has revealed another van, but it’s not another version of the Berlingo, Vivaro or Boxer.
The new Leapmotor T03 LCV is a tiny electric van based on its city car and designed for urban delivery work.
The model is being launched in selected European markets rather than the UK for now, but it provides a useful indication of how some manufacturers are approaching the lower end of the electric van market.

By van standards, the T03 LCV is extremely small. It measures just 3,620mm long, making it even shorter than the Dacia Spring Cargo.
Unsurprisingly, it is not designed to replace a conventional small van, instead being pitched as a low-cost zero-emission vehicle for city-centre deliveries and last-mile work.
The load area offers 657 litres of cargo space, while the payload is limited to 220kg. That puts it firmly in the (very) lightweight urban delivery category, suited to small parcels, local services and businesses that do not need a larger van for every job.

Power comes from a 70kW (95hp) electric motor, with a 37.3kWh battery providing a claimed WLTP range of up to 159 miles. DC rapid charging is available at up to 45kW, with a 30–80% charge taking around 36 minutes.
Despite its basic role, the T03 LCV keeps much of the passenger car’s technology. Standard equipment includes a 10.1-inch touchscreen, 8.0-inch digital driver display, online navigation, 4G connectivity and over-the-air software updates. Driver assistance systems include autonomous emergency braking, lane-keeping assistance and blind-spot detection.
The most eye-catching figure is the price. Leapmotor says the T03 LCV will start at €14,590 (around £12,600 excluding VAT) in its initial European launch markets. First deliveries are expected in summer 2026.

Whether the T03 LCV comes to the UK remains unclear, but as cities push for cleaner deliveries with ever more punitive low-emission zones, some operators may find that a very small electric commercial vehicle could make more sense than running a full-size van for light-duty work.
Its modest payload and load space mean it would only ever be a specialist option, but with other brands like BYD, Citroen, and Dacia exploring similar car-derived electric vans, Leapmotor isn’t alone in testing demand for this kind of vehicle.
