- Third-generation Nissan Juke revealed
- Fully electric for first time
- Radical exterior
- Set for launch spring 2027
- Offers Vehicle-to-Grid technology
- Full details still to be confirmed

Here’s a first look at the all-electric new Nissan Juke - boasting lines so sharp they risk lacerating your eyeballs!
The fun and frog-like Juke has long been a car that has divided opinion while still selling like hot cakes (it’s the 9th best-selling car in the UK in 2026 so far).
And this, the third-generation model, is sure to continue that trend.
It’s fully electric and launches in spring 2027.

What range does the electric Nissan Juke have?
Nissan hasn’t yet told us what range the Juke EV will have, with those details still to be confirmed, but the new Nissan Micra might give us some clues.
The rejuvenated Micra (which is smaller than the Juke) gets a choice of two different battery packs (40 kWh or 52 kWh) and a range of up to 260 miles between charges.
Here’s hoping the Juke EV can improve further on those stats.

When will the Nissan Juke EV launch?
The electric Nissan Juke is slated for a launch in 2027 but we’re likely to get more information as 2026 progresses.
Nissan describes it as a ‘reimagining’ of one of Europe’s ‘most distinctive compact crossovers’ and it’ll be built at Nissan’s Sunderland Plant right here in the UK.
Clíodhna Lyons, Region Vice President, Product, Brand & Marketing Strategy at Nissan, adds: “Juke has always stood for bold design and a willingness to challenge convention. With this third generation, we are bringing that spirit into the electric age.”

Will the hybrid Nissan Juke be phased out to make way for the electric Juke?
No - Nissan says the electric Juke will be sold alongside the existing hybrid model.
Nissan explains: “Juke HEV will remain an important part of the line-up, ensuring customers have access to technologies that suit their needs today.”
The Juke will also get Vehicle-to-Grid tech (that lets an electric car send electricity back to the power grid, not just take energy from it) just like the new Leaf.
More details as we get them!
