This is the RML P39 - a stunning new British hypercar that boasts ‘supercar-eclipsing performance’.
RML is a British engineering firm founded in 1984 by racing driver and engineer Ray Mallock and based out of Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.
It’s a company with four decades’ worth of motorsport experience, delivering touring cars, GT racers and bespoke supercars to clients across the world.

And the RML P39 is the group’s first ever customer car - destined for a limited run of just 39 examples - which was unveiled at the recent ‘Supercar Fest The Runway 2025’ held at Northamptonshire’s Sywell aerodrome.
The P39 is based on the Porsche 911 992.1 Turbo S - a car that’s no longer available to order but a new 922.2 is due for launch either this year or next. Why choose the Turbo S? RML says that particular car was chosen for its daily usability as well as its circuit capabilities.
RML has taken the Porsche’s twin‑turbo flat‑six engine and treated it to an ‘exhaustive re‑engineering programme’ that includes a larger‑diameter intake and exhaust plumbing, a unique Inconel exhaust valve – the largest ever fitted to a road‑going flat‑six – and optimised thermal routing.

The result is 920 hp and close to 1,000 Nm of torque in full-on ‘Track’ mode, while a ‘Wet’ preset dials-down the power to 600 hp and ‘Normal’ mode brings you 750 hp.
The P39 is more than just a refettled engine, though.
Carbon fibre bodywork and all manner of active aero devices - including an electronically-controlled rear wing and driver‑selectable Drag Reduction System (DRS) - results in a whopping 6,500 Nm of downforce in ‘Track’ mode. That’s colossal considering the stock Turbo S has 1,432 Nm of downforce.

The Porsche chassis has also been honed, with a wider track, new suspension links, secondary springs, bespoke dampers, and rear-wheel steering enhancing the experience. You also get two rear and three front ride‑height options, which will come in handy when negotiating speed bumps.
Michael Mallock, Board Member responsible for RML’s Bespoke Division, said: “From the outset we set ourselves the challenge of building a car which could switch personalities at the touch of a button – serene on the road, savage on the circuit. The numbers speak for themselves, but what excites me most is how intuitive and confidence‑inspiring the P39 feels, whatever the setting.”
First customer deliveries are scheduled for late summer 2025. Buyers will need to find a Porsche 911 Turbo S donor car while also stumping-up an additional £495,000.
