You’ll need to consider the size of the initial payment, your stipulated annual mileage, and any other optional extras you want to add to your leasing package, including upgrades on paint, alloy wheels, and tech.

The price of lease deals and special offers fluctuates and can be subject to change. That could be down to a number of different factors, such as promotional periods ending and discounted stock being depleted. Specific pricing on lease deals typically last for two, three or four weeks - but prices can change quickly and they’re not fixed for any length of time. Special offer pricing can fluctuate due to manufacturer incentives, dealer stock levels, and changes in finance company rates. Deals marked as being ‘IN STOCK’ are for vehicles that have already been configured and built, so there might be a limited number available at a given price. Once you’ve signed the lease agreement, your monthly price is locked in for the full duration of the contract - it won’t change even if market prices rise later.

Yes, it is sometimes possible to personalise and configure a car that’s on special offer or which is being heavily discounted, but not always. Many of Select’s special offers are for cars which are ‘in-stock’ - which means they’ve already been built and have left the factory. As such, it’s not always possible for the customer to choose a specific trim level or to add optional extras, like a panoramic glass roof or larger alloy wheels.

For other vehicles that haven’t already been built, you’re free to customise the build by choosing the trim, colour, alloy wheels, upholstery, interior kit and tech.

If you’re considering personalising a car after you’ve leased it (by adding new alloy wheels or body kit, for example) it’s important to remember that any modifications that are not easily reversible could violate the terms of your lease. Before making any modifications, always consult with your vehicle finance provider.

You can then select ‘Electric’, ‘Hybrid’ or ‘Plug-in Hybrid’ models, and you can also sort those deals in order of price.

No, there are no extra charges or hidden fees when you lease. Select is always open and transparent about its fees and customers have access to a full breakdown of charges. Besides the ‘Initial Payment’ (the lump sum paid at the start of a lease contract in order to bring down your ongoing monthly fees) and your monthly Direct Debit, customers are charged an ‘Arrangement fee’ of around £354. Arrangement fees are always listed in the ‘Your Deal Summary’ tab when you click on a lease deal.

Exceeding your stipulated annual mileage will result in an excess mileage charge (between 3p and 30p per mile, depending on the individual deal).

Meanwhile a vehicle must be returned to the leasing company at the end of the contract in good working condition, or there may be additional repair charges in line with ‘Fair Wear and Tear’ rules.
