About the Porsche Taycan Saloon
First launched in 2019, the Taycan Saloon is a performance EV that makes the ‘extraordinary even more outstanding’, according to Porsche.
It’s a vehicle where scintillating driving dynamics meet cutting edge design.
Supercar levels of power combine with sophisticated 800-volt electric architecture that enables ultra-rapid charging at speeds of up to 320 KW.
There are also myriad models available, from the entry-level rear-wheel drive saloon to the ferocious Taycan Turbo S, a car that’ll accelerate from 0-62mph in just 2.3 seconds.

The entry-level Taycan Saloon comes with 19-inch alloys, Matrix LED headlights, 8-way electric comfort seats, a 10-speaker sound system, a ‘Sport’ mode with Launch Control, adaptive air suspension including Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), heated front seats and a heated steering wheel.
4S
The 4S models improve on the base Taycan with all-wheel drive, more power, and red painted brake callipers.
GTS
The GTS grade adds more power and expanded equipment. I came back to Select following the expiry of my existing lease, because of the service received at the time some 5 years ago and in particular , Rubin Ball , indeed when thinking about a new lease, he was my first ( and only ) port of call as his name is synonymous with Select - It’s the personal touch that counts . It is quite evident that Select has grown over the years and has had to adapt to that fact, with new systems and personnel as the business has flourished. Nevertheless when getting bogged down in the ‘system’ a phone call to Rubin had it sorted . So keep it up and whatever you do do don’t lose the ‘personal touch ‘
