Mercedes-Benz EQE Review
Mercedes-Benz is continuing its sprint into the future with the launch of its all-new electric saloon car, the EQE – but is it all glitz and glamour without the oomph?
Enjoy best-in-class comfort and cutting-edge technology with a Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV lease.
The luxurious, all-wheel drive EQE SUV is, as the name might suggest, a sibling car to the Mercedes-Benz EQE Saloon.
The upmarket EQE SUV sits just a rung down from the flagship EQS SUV in the Mercedes-Benz line-up of battery-powered vehicles.
And with ‘Airmatic’ air suspension and adaptive damping on all models, no matter which trim level or powertrain you choose, you can expect a premium ride quality to match the EQE SUV’s lavish interior.
Read moreThere are two powertrains to choose from with a Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV lease - the 350 4MATIC or the more powerful 500 4MATIC - and both make use of an 89 kWh battery with super-fast 200 kW rapid charging capabilities.
It’s the 350 4MATIC that nudges ahead of the 500 4MATIC in terms of range, covering up to 334 miles between charges compared with the 500’s maximum distance of 324 miles.
Whichever one to choose to lease, you can expect the pace to be brisk. The 292 PS 350 4MATIC will accelerate from 0-62mph in 6.6 seconds while the 408 PS 500 4MATIC can get up to that speed in just 4.9 seconds.
Trim levels begin at AMG Line and run through AMG Line Premium, AMG Line Premium Plus, and the range-topping Business Class.
Entry-level AMG Line models enjoy electric memory function leather sports seats, a twin-screen digital display, 20 inch alloys, and the ‘Active Parking Assist’ system, which will help you to steer your car into a tight spot.
The AMG Line Premium unlocks an uprated sound system, built-in dashcam, 21 inch alloys, and an augmented reality sat-nav.
The AMG Line Premium Plus variants bring rear-axle steering, the stunning Mercedes-Benz ‘Hyperscreen’ display, and 22 inch rims.
Meanwhile the Business Class EQE SUV boasts everything from a TV tuner for the Hyperscreen, as well as the ‘Air Balance’ package, which provides an individual fragrance in the cabin, which can be varied depending on your mood.
A rival to the BMW iX and the Tesla Model X, the Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV is a great option for business lease customers, attracting a Benefit in Kind (BIK) premium of just 2% until the 2024/25 financial year.

Customer service is excellent. Chris Waugh sorted 5 cars out for us without a problem. Their online system also allows you to get all the paperwork sorted efficiently, in your own time, without paper having to be copied and scanned everywhere.
Amazing service! This was our first time leasing and our contact (Wezley Small) couldn't have done more to help. We will be recommending Select leasing to our friends and especially dealing with Wezley.
