And with a range of more than 300 miles between charges, as well as rapid charging capabilities that can take the battery from 10-to-80% full in as little as 24 minutes, the EV9 should be extremely easy to live with.

Entry level variants of the EV9 have a rear-wheel drive, single-motor powertrain with power of 201 bhp, while models further up the range enjoy all-wheel drive, power of 378 bhp and 700 Nm of torque, ensuring the big SUV is brisk to accelerate.
The ‘GT-Line S’ variants - the first EV9s made available in the UK - also feature 21-inch alloys, a sliding sunroof, head-up display, and a 14-speaker sound system.
Business lease customers benefit from a low 2% BIK (benefit-in-kind) rate for EVs up until the 2024/25 tax year.
Meanwhile the EV9 joins Kia’s line-up of electric vehicles alongside the compact Niro EV, the sleek EV6, and the practical Soul EV.
