The Seal 6 DM-i Touring represents BYD’s first estate car to be launched in Europe - and it offers an affordable leasing alternative to much pricier rivals from the likes of Audi and BMW.
A 500-litre boot is close in capacity to the Skoda Superb Estate plug-in hybrid - with the Skoda renowned for being one of the most practical family cars available.
The Seal 6’s boot expands to 1,535 litres with the rear seats folded flat while there’s excellent legroom and headroom in the rear, too.
Meanwhile the BYD Seal 6 DM-i Touring’s frugal powertrain delivers fuel economy in excess of 55 mpg while also offering an extended EV driving range - which lags behind some competitors but should still be ample for most.
