26.6 kWh ‘Blade’ battery
The ‘Comfort’ grade BYD Seal U gets a larger 26.6 kWh battery, working in conjunction with a 1.5-litre petrol engine, which unlocks an EV range of up to 78 miles.

The front-wheel drive Boost trim features a 1.5-litre petrol engine, a 18.3 kWh battery and power of 218 PS. You can also expect adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and lane change assist tech to be fitted as standard.

The Comfort grade adds a larger 26.6 kWh battery and gets a range of up to 78 miles using electricity alone.
