- BMW M2 - now even sharper
- Regular M2 can be fitted with Track Kit
- Manually adjustable front splitter
- Swan neck rear wing
- M2 CS gains M Performance exhaust option
- UK prices and availability still TBC

Just in case the BMW M2 wasn’t rowdy enough for you, it can now be enjoyed with an optional Track Kit or M Performance exhaust.
The M2 is BMW’s entry-level M Car, and can be leased as either the standard 480 hp coupe or the more raucous 530 hp M2 CS.
From July 2026, you’ll now be able to tick the Track Kit option for the regular M2 or fit the M Performance exhaust to the M2 CS.
And, as you can see from these pics, both are LOUD.
Here’s everything you need to know.

What is the BMW M2 Track Kit?
The box-nosed BMW M2 is already one of the most striking M models in the German firm’s history, and with the Track Kit added it’s even more attention-grabbing.
As BMW points out, the Track Kit is road legal but designed for track day shenanigans - an ‘increasingly popular pastime for drivers with sporting ambitions’.
There’s a manually adjustable front splitter that forms a single unit with the front diffuser. That’s complemented by wheel arch diffusers and a scoop under the upstream engine oil cooler for increased downforce.

The most eye-catching element of the Track Kit is the swan neck rear wing, as used on the BMW M4 GT4 and BMW M4 GT3 racers.
It features a unique ‘Race Mode’ in which the rear wing is moved by 50 millimetres toward the rear, boosting aero effectiveness. You can also retract it into a more subtle ‘Street Mode’.
That rear wing features an integrated brake light.

The suspension has also been upgraded to include 4-way adjustable rebound and compression damping, adjustable support bearings and the first special motorsport damper system to also be road-legal.
The chassis can also be lowered by up to 20 millimetres at the front and rear, with adjustment ‘infinitely variable’, says BMW.

How much will the BMW M2 Track Kit cost?
UK prices, or availability, haven’t been confirmed yet.
But BMW has told us that it’ll cost 23,500 euros, plus tax, in Germany - which equates to around £20,500. That price excludes installation.

So, you’re looking at a fair wedge of additional cash, above and beyond the M2’s £70,000 starting price.
As luck would have it… we’ve got a lease deal for the BMW M2 right now. Prices with Select Car Leasing begin at £632.62 per month*.

What is the M Performance exhaust system for the BMW M2 CS?
The BMW M2 CS sits a cut above the regular M2 and already boasts sharper handling and a unique design.
Now, with this performance exhaust option, The M2 CS is even more appealing to petrolheads.
BMW says the exhaust gas routing has been enhanced to deliver a ‘distinctive sound’ while you can adjust the din via several modes.

It’s 8kg lighter than the standard M2 CS exhaust system while you can also enjoy different tailpipe trims made from carbon and titanium.
In Germany, the M Performance exhaust is priced from 8,343.50 euros, excluding installation. That’s around £7,000 in UK money.
* Prices include VAT. Credit is Subject to Status, Ts and Cs and Arrangement Fees apply. Excess mileage may apply. Stock levels and prices correct as of 03/03/26.
