Smart says the #3 is here to ‘stir up the premium EV segment’, and it’s certainly capable of doing that in potent ‘Brabus’ form, where lease customers can enjoy power of up to 428 PS.

About the Smart #3

When Mercedes-Benz-owned brand Smart first burst onto the scene in the late 1990s, it became synonymous with compact, urban-dwelling vehicles designed for the cut and thrust of city rush hours.

By 2022 Smart had become an electric-only manufacturer, with its battery-powered ForTwo and ForFour EV hatchbacks.

But Smart enjoyed a radical refresh in 2023, first launching the compact #1 crossover and then the larger #3 SUV.

And it’s the Smart #3 that really takes the fight to some of the lease market’s biggest hitters, coming with a strong range between charges and unique exterior styling.

Why lease a Smart #3?

One of the main reasons you’ll lease a Smart #3 is for its sophisticated exterior styling, which is at once both elegant yet athletic.

A powerful shark-nosed front end is complemented by slim LED headlights, while a 370-litre boot should make it a practical lease car, too.

You should also lease a Smart #3 if you’re looking for an EV that offers almost supercar levels of performance. The Smart #3 Brabus has power of 428 PS and can accelerate from 0-62mph in just 3.7 seconds - which makes it as quick as the £110,000 Porsche Taycan GTS.

The Smart #3 is also well kitted-out as standard, coming with a 12.8-inch full HD touchscreen, adaptive cruise control, and a 360-degree camera.

Which Smart #3 trim level should I lease?
