About the Porsche Cayenne Electric
Since its inception in 2002, the Cayenne has proved that you really can take all the prestige and performance of a sports car from a brand like Porsche and put it into a practical SUV.
In 2025, Porsche moved the needle once more, launching this fully-electric version of its long-running crowdpleaser to sit alongside the regular petrol and plug-in hybrid Cayenne.
The basic Cayenne recipe remains the same; the Cayenne Electric is a car you can drive to the office, off-road up a muddy track, or at the racetrack.
Upon its launch, the Cayenne Electric also represented the most powerful production Porsche of all time, with a staggering 1,156 PS giving a 0-62 mph acceleration time of just 2.5 seconds.
