The e-Niro was one of the first affordable electric cars to challenge petrol- and diesel-powered vehicles, and it remains one of just a handful to fit that brief. Not only is it a practical, roomy family car, but it has plenty of range for all but the longest journeys.
Kia e-Niro Lease
The all-electric e-Niro is a practical family car that represents great value, with a welcome bonus that it’s also a whole lot of fun to drive. You don’t have to take our word for it either - the e-Niro won the coveted ‘Car of the Year’ prize at last year’s WhatCar? Awards.Read more
And an e-Niro lease comes with a choice of two battery sizes - 39 kWh or 64 kWh units with power of either 134 bhp or 201 bhp.
The e-Niro is capable of travelling 282 miles on a single charge and if you opt for the ‘4+’ variant you get a three-phase 11kW Charger that’ll take the battery from empty to full in just seven hours.
Performance wse, it’ll cover 0-60mph in 7.5 seconds, while standard trim on the basic model includes everything from smart cruise control to a reversing camera - making it a great alternative to the likes of the Hyundai Kona Electric or BMW i3.

Kia e-Niro Frequently Asked Questions
As we steam headlong towards 2030 and the government objective to get us all electrified, many motorists are put off by the price tag. There is little doubt though that an electric vehicle has clear environmental advantages, and by leasing a Kia e-Niro through Select Car Leasing, you’ll not only be helping to save the planet but also be saving yourself plenty of cash. There’s no need to worry about the vehicle’s list price; just find the deal that suits your needs and your pocket and you can enjoy emission-free motoring in no time at all.
If you’re unsure whether it’s better to lease or to buy your new car, then have a read of our Buying Vs Leasing Guide which details out the main things for you to consider.
As the popularity of electric vehicles increases, more vehicles hit the market and that tends to keep prices in check. You can access the best deals available for a Kia e-Niro via our extensive network of dealers; just browse our website and specify exactly what you want from your e-Niro and you’ll find the most competitive prices available, all in one place.
One of the most talked-about fears for motorists considering an electric vehicle is range anxiety. With the Kia e-Niro you’ll have no need to worry. Its 64kWh lithium-ion battery pack can keep you moving for up to 282 miles on a single charge. Fast charging ability means that you’ll be able to top up the battery to 80% charge in under an hour - that’s just a lunch stop en route for most of us - and then you’ll be on your way again. A seven-year warranty is also a big plus point for the Kia, with few manufacturers offering anywhere near this level of reassurance.
There’s plenty of safety kit fitted to the Kia e-Niro as standard, across every trim level, with just a few options available. Electronic stability control, collision-avoidance assistance and lane-keeping assist are available on all models, as well as air bags all around and clever doors that, should the unthinkable happen, unlock once an accident has finished happening.
It’s practical too, with ample head and legroom, and a huge 450-litre boot - plenty of room for several suitcases. There are seat back pockets, front and rear door storage, as well as space in the centre console for storage, so you’ll not struggle for stowage. With rear parking sensors and a reversing camera as standard on all models, you’ll have no problem maneuvering the e-Niro either, making it a joy to drive.
There are three trim levels available, unimaginatively called 2, 3 and 4+. The e-Niro 2 is the entry point to the e-Niro, with the low-spec ‘1’ trim not being offered here. It’s the only model in the e-Niro range to offer a smaller battery pack, with the 39kWh offering less range but a lower price tag. Don’t be fooled by that, though - thanks to better residual values, it’s usually cheaper to lease the longer-range model with the larger battery.
Every model is fitted with an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system and smart cruise control, with the ‘3’ and 4;+’ models above adding a little more luxury to the Kia, such as heated seats or a wireless phone charger.
