About the Honda Prelude
Having been absent from Honda’s line-up for a quarter of a century, the sixth-generation Prelude made a glorious return to the market for 2026 - and it’s here to deliver the ‘joy of driving’ to a new generation of customers, according to the Japanese manufacturer.
With its design inspired by the aviation industry, particularly the simplicity of modern gliders, the Honda Prelude boasts a streamlined and aerodynamic exterior that’s sure to catch the eye.
A low stance and a suspension set-up borrowed from the all-conquering Honda Civic Type R also means the Prelude offers exceptional handling.
While nowhere near as potent as the now-discontinued Civic Type R, the Honda Prelude’s sophisticated ‘e:HEV’ full hybrid powertrain develops 184 PS and is also capable of returning a healthy 45 miles to the gallon, giving drivers the best of all worlds.
