About the Volvo ES90
The ES90 is a luxurious, fully-electric saloon that ‘breaks the mould’ for cars in the class, according to Volvo.
While boasting a sleek silhouette, the ES90 also blends design elements from SUVs and comes with a ‘fastback’ rear that opens to reveal a ‘wildly spacious boot’.
The ES90 sits at the very summit of the Volvo range, alongside the electric EX90 SUV, and offers a range of up to 435 miles.
As Volvo points out, that should be more than enough to ‘take you further and bring you home again’.

The Volvo ES90 boasts a list of Volvo ‘firsts’. It’s the first Volvo to feature 800-volt technology, which boosts range and allows for faster charging. The electric saloon features a dual NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Orin configuration, making the ES90 the most powerful car Volvo ever created in terms of core computing capacity. A roof-mounted lidar - and a battery of radars, cameras and sensors - also ensures the Volvo ES90 leads the class when it comes to safety.
The Volvo ES90’s long wheelbase means there’s generous amounts of rear legroom in the rear while a 424-litre boot trumps some rivals but isn’t quite as large as the BMW i5 Saloon or Audi A6 e-tron Sportback. While the ES90 has the silhouette of a saloon, a hatchback opening gives easy access to the rear. The Volvo ES90 also gets a braked towing capacity of 1,600kg.
