The fully-electric Volkswagen ID.7 Tourer is the estate sibling to the VW ID.7 saloon-hatchback. Lease customers can expect a range of up to 425 miles between charges, as well as a large 605-litre boot - a generous increase from the 532 litres you get with the ID.7 ‘fastback’ saloon.
Rapid 200 kW DC charging also means you can replenish the energy in the ID.7 Tourer’s battery to 80 per cent in significantly less than 30 minutes.
The ID.7 Tourer slots into VW line-up of estates alongside the Passat, the Arteon Shooting Brake, and the Golf Estate. It’s also a leasing rival to other electric estates like the BMW i5 Touring and MG5 EV.
It’s not just a spacious and practical lease car, it’s also well-equipped as standard, coming with a large 15.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system and an augmented reality head-up display. A panoramic sunroof is available as an option.
While two different battery sizes are available - 77kWh battery or an 86kWh - each works in conjunction with a 286 PS electric motor.
However, lease customers can also enjoy a more powerful performance variant of the ID.7 estate in the form of the all-wheel drive VW ID.7 Tourer GTX.
Here power increases to a maximum 340 PS while the rapid estate is capable of accelerating from 0-62mph in less than 6.0 seconds. The GTX iteration of the VW ID.7 Tourer also features more aggressive exterior styling and an uprated interior.
