The ID.7 is offered with a 82 kWh battery that unlocks a range of up to 437 miles between charges. That range figure is impressive, particularly when you consider the Tesla Model 3 ‘Long Range’ can travel a lesser distance of up to 374 miles.
Rapid fast-charging speeds of up to 200 kW should mean you never have to wait long to see the battery replenish.
A more powerful GTX model joined the ID.7 range in 2024, coming with power of 340 PS, all-wheel drive, and range in excess of 350 miles between charges. The VW ID.7 is also capable of accelerating from 0-62mph in just 5.4 seconds.
Meanwhile the VW ID.7 is also one of the most intelligent electric saloons available to lease.
It’s equipped with semi-autonomous driving tech, including the VW Travel Assist system, which can support assisted lane changing on multi-lane motorways at speeds. The VW ID.7 also has self-parking capabilities.
Lease customers can expect a 15 inch infotainment screen, an augmented reality head-up display, massage seats, and an optional ‘smart’ panoramic sunroof which can be switched from opaque to transparent at the touch of a button.
And because this particular ID.7 is a ‘fastback’ saloon, the hatchback-style boot is both practical and spacious, measuring 532 litres.
As VW says, the ID.7 ‘redefines the performance of electric mobility’.
