When a recharge does become necessary, when connected to a 50kw rapid-charger the MG5 can recuperate up to 80% charge in 50 minutes. Performance wise the MG5 is powered by a 154 bhp electric motor, which gives it the capability to travel 0-62mph in just 7.7 seconds.
The MG5 is available in two separate trim levels; 'Excite' and 'Exclusive'. With the Excite trim, drivers benefit from an array of features such as, an 8-inch touchscreen compatible with Apple Car Play and Android Auto. If opting for exclusive trim, drivers can enjoy an added touch of luxury thanks to features such as heated front seats. The MG5 is kitted with safety features such as an auto-hold handbrake.
