Mercedes A Class Lease

The Mercedes-Benz A-Class is rightly considered one of the most affordable high-performance hatchbacks available to lease. Whether it’s convenience, practicality or just raw performance that you need, an A-Class lease deal will have you covered.

A Mercedes-Benz A-Class Saloon bodytype is also available as an alternative option to the Hatchback version, while the A-Class is also a more compact sibling to the Mercedes-Benz B-Class.

Cutting-edge design combined with a sumptuous, tech-laden interior makes the A-Class a worthy rival to the likes of the Audi A3, BMW 1 Series, and Volkswagen Golf.

A plug-in hybrid - the 250 e - offers an electric-only range of 44 miles and can be charged in as little as three hours. Furthermore, with a lower Co2 g/km than the petrol or diesel only A-Class, the hybrid 250 e provides business car drivers with a more favourable tax position. With emissions of just 24 g/km, the plug-in attracts just a 6% Benefit in Kind Tax percentage.

There’s a great choice of traditional petrol and diesel engines, too, with the range-topping 2.0 litre petrol A 250 able to sprint from 0-62mph in just 6.2 seconds.

Meanwhile the A-Class range was refreshed last year to include two new models - the ‘Exclusive Edition’ and ‘Exclusive Edition Plus’, which feature unique styling, a ‘Hey Mercedes’ virtual assistant, a 10.25-inch high-resolution media display, as well as augmented reality sat nav and 19 inch AMG alloy wheels.

Mercedes A-Class Frequently Asked Questions

The A-Class is a brilliant way to become a Mercedes-Benz driver without the need to spend big money, or have a massive car. It’s loaded with the style and prestige that you expect from a Mercedes, and sports some eye-catching technology inside its beautiful cabin. A range of engines and trim choices, from the efficient to the performance-focused, only sweetens its appeal, and it’s available in both hatchback and saloon forms.

You’ll pay a bit more for an A-Class than similar-sized rivals like the Ford Focus, but the actual cost of leasing a Mercedes is likely to be considerably less than you expect. That’s especially true at Select Car Leasing, as our market-leading links with the automotive industry mean we can offer some of the UK’s most competitive rates and special offers. Have a look through the full list of Mercedes-Benz A-Class lease deals to see which model will suit you the best.

Even the folk at Mercedes will admit that, in the past, the A-Class was a small hatchback that didn’t have the substance to back up its prestigious badge. But that’s not the case with this latest model, which is streets ahead of its ancestors and one of the best premium hatchbacks on the market. Did we say hatchback? We nearly forgot that it’s also available in classy saloon form too. Both versions have an interior that would look at home in much more expensive Mercedes, with great build quality and a stylish design. There’s lots of high tech infotainment features too. Engines range from efficient and punchy to hardcore performance units in the AMG-badged A-Classes, and there’s a plug-in hybrid model too, which will do up to 44 miles on battery power alone.

The A-Class was reviewed and tested by independent safety organisation Euro NCAP in 2018 and was given the maximum five-star score, with great marks in adult, child and pedestrian safety tests. Lots of the latest safety features are included as standard across the range, and more are available on higher-spec models or as options. Practicality wise, there are more roomy hatchbacks of this size, but you should fit two reasonably tall adults in the back seats, even if they might want more legroom. The boot’s a good size, and about the same as an Audi A3

There’s a wide selection of trim levels on the A-Class. The range starts with the Sport, which is kitted out with 17-inch alloy wheels and LED headlights, and the specs go up from there. The Sport Executive Edition adds larger wheels and a better infotainment system, while AMG Line Executive Edition has a sportier look. Then there’s AMG Line Premium Edition and AMG Line Premium Plus Edition, which add extra features like a panoramic sunroof. At the top of the range are two hugely powerful, four-wheel drive and feature-filled models from Mercedes’s tuning arm, AMG. They’re the A35 and the A45 S, and they’re a LOT of fun.

Don't just take our word for it. We're rated at 4.9/5 on independent reviews website Trustpilot from over 37,424 genuine customer reviews

We had a slightly shaky start due to our account manager going off sick and the ball being dropped but when Garry R. took over, it was progressed quickly and efficiently so thank you. Delivery of my Tesla was very quick. Overall, the process was relatively short, helped by a swift delivery timeframe from Tesla.

Very responsive service, regular updates and calls from Sam Spencer and explained all the processes and stages really well. Very easy to talk to and ask questions and not made to feel like was being a difficult customer. The main office and Amber McDonnell have been great as well!
