The DS 3 is a luxurious compact crossover powered by a frugal petrol engine and which competes with rivals like the Audi Q2, Ford Puma, Skoda Kamiq, and the Peugeot 2008. Refreshed and revamped in 2023, the traditionally-fuelled DS 3 sits alongside the fully-electric DS 3 E-Tense in the French manufacturer’s range.

The distinctive DS 3 marks the entry point into the DS leasing range, sitting behind the larger DS 4 crossover and DS 7 SUV.
The DS 3 hatchback has previously been known as the DS 3 ‘Crossback’, though that ‘Crossback’ title was jettisoned in 2023 to simplify the offering.
DS says its ‘3’ has been built with ‘refinement’ in mind. The modern exterior features flush-fitting door handles and invisible exterior window seals in order to elevate the DS 3 above other crossovers in the leasing market.
The cabin should also prove exceptionally comfortable, coming with plush, premium seats, an ergonomic steering wheel, and a large 10.3-inch infotainment touch screen.
The ‘PureTech 130’ petrol engine has power of 131 hp, comes mated to an automatic gearbox, and is capable of returning close to 50 miles to the gallon, which should help to lower your fuel bills.
Meanwhile a self-charging ‘HYBRID’ powertrain, introduced in 2024, marries a 1.2-litre petrol engine with a 28hp electric motor to offer improved performance, lower CO2 emissions and increased fuel efficiency.
