About the Citroen e-C3

The electric Citroen e-C3 joined the UK leasing market in 2024 as one of the most affordable EVs available, going up against other value vehicles like the Dacia Spring and MG4 EV.

The exterior styling is pleasing, with chunky, SUV-like proportions that belie the e-C3’s compact size, while the uncluttered interior is simple yet refined.

Designed with urban driving in mind, the Citroen e-C3 gets a 44 kWh battery that equates to a range of around 198 miles between charges.

Meanwhile a 310-litre boot is practical enough for daily use.

Why lease the Citroen e-C3?

One of the main reasons you’ll choose to lease the Citroen e-C3 is affordability, as it’s one of the cheapest EVs on the leasing market.

Despite the low monthly lease fee, the e-C3 is well equipped as standard with entry-level models featuring a 10-inch touchscreen with wireless smartphone mirroring.

You also get rear parking sensors, lane-departure warning and automatic emergency braking (AEB) as standard.

Meanwhile 100kW DC rapid charging capabilities allow public charging from 20% to 80% in as little as 26 minutes.

Which Citroen e-C3 powertrain is right for me?

Electric

The Citroen e-C3’s 44 kWh battery provides power of 113 hp and a relatively sprightly 0-62 mph acceleration time of 11 seconds. The range maxes-out at around 198 miles. Using a standard 7.4 kW charger takes the energy in the battery from 20% to 80% in four hours and 10 minutes.

Darren was easy to deal with, explained everything, always helpful on each occasion we spoke. Darren was my main contact but others I spoke with were equally good to deal with. If I wanted to lease in the future I would come back to this company.

My experience with Select Car leasing has been excellent. Sarah Schatynski the agent I had was very professional and provided excellent customer service throughout, explaining the process and sorted out any requests very efficiently, and even called me the day after I had received my vehicle to make sure everything was ok. I received regular updates about my car from others team members both via email and my select car account. In my view a very well run company.
