Chery Tiggo 9 Lease

The Tiggo 9 is officially called a ‘Chery Super Hybrid’. What that means in practical terms is that it’s a plug-in hybrid that also has some self-charging capabilities. A 1.5-litre petrol engine is combined with a 34.46 kWh battery and twin electric motors. The Chery Tiggo 9 supports rapid charging at 71 kW, which can replenish the energy in the battery from 30–80% in around 18 minutes. 

The Chery Tiggo 9 offers an abundance of power for the class, with 428 PS and 580 Nm of torque translating to a 0-62mph acceleration time of just 5.4 seconds. To put that figure into perspective, the 7-seat, plug-in hybrid Kia Sorento has a lesser power output of 248 PS and takes 8.8 second to reach 62mph from a standstill. Despite the Chery Tiggo 9’s brisk pace, lease customers can still enjoy an EV driving range of up to 91 miles in on a single charge.

The Chery Tiggo 9 has a traditional 2+3+2 layout. The second row bench can slide and recline to optimise space while the third row seats fold completely flat, giving an 819-litre boot. The Chery Tiggo 9 also features air conditioning in the third row for better passenger comfort. 

The Chery Tiggo 9 is offered with just one trim level, but it’s a grade that’s fully loaded as standard. You can expect heated and ventilated seats (front and rear), front seats with massage functions, large 15.6-inch central touchscreen plus 10.25-inch driver display, wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, 14-speaker Sony audio, automatic parking system, and a 540-degree camera system.
