Changan is one of China's largest automotive groups with 45 years’ experience in the industry.
It hopes to appeal directly to UK motorists having established an R&D centre in Birmingham, as well as a design centre in Turin, Italy, while tuning its cars for our roads.
The Deepal S05 is a fully-electric, medium sized SUV that sits behind the slightly larger Changan Deepal S07 in the firm’s range.
The S05 is sportier and more agile than its S07 sibling and boasts power of up to 435 PS, giving it a 0-62mph acceleration time of just 5.5 seconds (with the AWD powertrain).
