There’s a choice of three different powertrains - thanks to a 63 kWh battery or larger 87 kWh unit - with Nissan's all-wheel-drive, dual-motor ‘e-4ORCE’ system is also available as a leasing option.
The most powerful versions of the Nissan Ariya are capable of accelerating from 0-62mph in just 5.1 seconds.
Charging is made simple, too.
The 63kWh versions carry a 7.4 kW charger for domestic use, while the 87kWh battery versions include a 22kW 3 phase charger for home charging, and the Ariya can also support quick charging up to 130kW for ‘peace of mind during long journeys’, according to the Japanese firm.
Meanwhile NIssan says that stepping inside the Ariya is the equivalent of taking a seat inside a ‘sleek cafe lounge on a starship’. There are slimline ‘Zero Gravity’ seats that provide great legroom while the dash features large 12.3 inch haptic touchscreens.
The Ariya is also brimming with tech. It comes with Nissan’s ‘ProPILOT’ driver assist system, which helps you stay centred in your lane, navigate stop-and-go highway traffic and maintain a set vehicle speed and distance to the vehicle ahead.
And remember that because the Ariya produces zero CO2 emissions at the tailpipe, business lease customers can expect to pay a low Benefit in Kind (BIK) tax rate.
