PHEV powertrains are scarce in this class of car yet the BYD Dolphin G offers an EV range of up to 65 miles on a single charge alongside an affordable price point.
You don’t have to skimp on space, either, with the Dolphin G boasting a generous 425-litre boot, which is similar to the luggage capacity on offer in much larger family hatchbacks.
