Launched in 2026, the electric BYD Atto 3 EVO is an evolution of the regular Atto 3 that first made its debut in 2023.
Chinese manufacturer BYD says it listened to customer feedback when creating the Atto 3 EVO, giving it a refreshed exterior design and a more streamlined interior.
The Atto 3 EVO also benefits from more power, a bigger battery, longer range, faster charging, improved practicality and increased standard equipment compared to its predecessor.
A BYD Atto 3 EVO lease gives you the choice of either rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive - and there’s an abundance of power across the range.
The BYD Atto 3 EVO is surprisingly potent.
A 74.8 kWh battery unlocks power of either 313 PS (single motor rear-wheel drive) or 449 PS (dual motor all-wheel drive) which ensures that even the entry-level models can accelerate from 0-62mph in 5.5 seconds.
The AWD variant reduces that sprint time to just 3.9 seconds.
Despite the Atto 3 EVO’s pace, you’ll still enjoy a range of up to 316 miles between charges, while 220 kW rapid charging can take the battery from 10-80% in 25 minutes.

Entry-level Design models feature a rear-wheel drive powertrain and come loaded with a 15.6-inch infotainment touchscreen with Google features integrated, an 8.8-inch driver’s screen, heated and ventilated front seats, front and rear parking sensors, wireless phone charging, vehicle-to-load, and an efficiency-boosting heat pump.
The Excellence grade adds an all-wheel drive powertrain and extra power, and also unlocks a head-up display, heated rear seats, and a panoramic sunroof with electric sunshade.
