About the Audi Q7
The Audi Q7 has been a striking presence on UK roads since its launch back in 2007, and it has also been a firm favourite among families in search of stress-free, upmarket motoring.
We’re focusing here on the Q7 powered by mild hybrid petrol and diesel engines, as well as the performance SQ7 models, though you can also lease the plug-in hybrid Audi Q7 TFSI e by heading to our dedicated pages.
All variants of the Audi Q7 are equipped with seven seats (including the performance SQ7 model) and all-wheel drive also comes as standard.

Black Edition

The Q7 is a large premium SUV from Audi with a 7‑seat configuration, spacious interior, advanced tech and strong practicality. The SQ7 is a sportier, high‑performance version of the Q7 with a powerful petrol engine and enhanced driving dynamics.
Both the Q7 and SQ7 both offer 7 seats, with adults fitting comfortably in the middle row and the rearmost seats being most suitable for children or short trips.
The standard Audi Q7 is equipped with either a 3.0-litre diesel or 3.0-litre petrol engine, both of which are supported by mild-hybrid tech. Acceleration is brisk for base models, with 0-62mph taking place in 7.1 seconds. The Audi SQ7 improves things considerably. Here a 4.0-litre petrol engine enables a 0-62mph sprint in just 4.1 seconds.
With all seven seats in use, boot space is modest, at around 295 litres. You can fold the third row seats away to create 780 litres of luggage space. Folding the second row seats enables almost 2,000 litres of storage, which is almost van-like in its size. The Audi Q7 is a big SUV - which means passenger legroom/headroom is right up there with the best in class.
Audi offers the Q7 with petrol and diesel V6 engines with smooth power delivery and strong real‑world usability. The Audi SQ7 uses a 4.0 litre V8 petrol for much greater performance. Both models use Audi’s quattro four‑wheel‑drive system as standard.
