Italian performance car maker Abarth has taken the electric Fiat 500, dialled-up the power and increased the exterior aggression, to create the ‘500e’ - one of the coolest hot-hatches on the market. The Abarth 500e is a rival to the MINI Electric and the Smart #1.

Abarth also says the 500e is a second quicker than the more powerful Abarth 695 in the ‘urban pickup’ race - being 50% faster when travelling from 12 mph to 25 mph.
