Italian performance car maker Abarth has taken the electric Fiat 500, dialled-up the power and increased the exterior aggression, to create the ‘500e’ - one of the coolest hot-hatches on the market.
The Abarth 500e is a rival to the MINI Electric and the Smart #1. Launch ‘Scorpionissima’ models are top of the range and fully-loaded with equipment.
A 42 kWh battery is enough to produce power of 155 PS and 235 Nm of torque, which sees the 500e accelerate from 0-62mph in 7.0 seconds - a time that’s actually quicker than the petrol-powered Abarth 595.
