About the Nissan Townstar EV
The Nissan Townstar EV first hit the UK leasing market in 2023 and promptly set about the picking up industry awards, with What Van? naming it ‘Electric Van of the Year’.

Like the regular Nissan Townstar, the electric Nissan Townstar EV can be leased in two lengths and also as a 5-seat Crew van.
A max payload of 713 kg (for the L2 model) is only marginally down on the 774 kg you get with the petrol-powered Townstar.
L1 variants have a 3.3m3 load space while the L2 Townstar EV ups that to 4.3m3 - which is again the same as the traditionally-fuelled Townstar.
Once you’ve chosen your body size, you can then choose between two trims; entry-level Acenta and range-topping Tekna.
The Tekna models are particularly appealing, coming with body coloured bumpers (for L1 models), automatic air conditioning, keyless entry and go, and sat nav.

The Nissan Townstar EV is underpinned by a 45 kWh battery that provides a range of up to 178 miles with the L1 models. The Nissan Townstar EV supports rapid charging at up to 80 kW DC, which allows for a 15-80% charge in 37 minutes.

Acenta
Entry-level Acenta models feature black bumpers, 16-inch steel wheels, twin side loading doors, rear parking sensors, reversing camera, automatic air conditioning, cruise control, and electric parking brake, cloth upholstery and an 8-inch colour touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Tekna
The range-topping Tekna grade adds body colour bumpers (on the L1 van), front, rear and side parking sensors, sat nav and a surround view camera.
