Rolls Royce have announced another limited edition version of their intensely popular Wraith vehicle with the reveal of the ''Inspired by Music'' edition. The exclusive vehicle will partner the ''Inspired by Film'' and ''Inspired by Fashion'' model variants which have been previewed to showcase Rolls' diverse and lengthy customization capabilities as well as the prominence their vehicles have among those in the arts profession. That's not to say you can't get a Rolls Royce if you don't work in music, film or fashion but it certainly helps; especially when you take a look at the six figure price-tag.
As the model has a special tie-in with music it's not surprising that Rolls have gone all-out when it comes to the vehicle's stereo and general sound capabilities. That's not all they've done though, with a strong amount of copper textiling and trim added to make the Wraith just that little bit more prestigous. The interior in the original Wraith was a world-away from many vehicles any of us will ever get to drive and it's no surprise that the crux of what made an excellent internal styling has continued through to this special edition. This copper will cover the dashboard, speaker grilles and pretty much anywhere a fresh new-trim can be added; Rolls suggest they've spent two years making it a seriously good musical experience within the interior. It will even be offered as a paint scheme known as 'specialLYRICAL Copper' which Rolls claim has been implemented due to the materials connection with the music industry, both in the form of instruments and 'world-class' stereo systems.
More about the rather high-tech stereo and the Rolls Royce Bespoke Audio which the manufacturer has been putting into the Wraith since the newest Wraith arrived. Rolls Royce have affectionately referred to it as ''the most exhaustively designed sound system in automotive history'' and the music edition is expected to only improve this. Standing in at 1300-watts, offering 18 different channels, two bass speakers and seven mid range sound speakers as well two additional speakers in the headlining, Rolls-Royce have really spared no expense and it's fair to say the sound system will charge your average Corsa boot speaker out of the water.
Rolls Royce's are not such a common sight in the UK as they once were, but don't let that fool you; there's a huge customer base outside of the UK. And even on these shores, Rolls-Royce still commands an incredible respect and prestige that many manufacturers can only dream of.
