Volkswagen Tiguan Lease
The Tiguan is a stylish, mid-size SUV from Volkswagen, sandwiched in the range between the smaller T-Roc and the full-fat Touareg. And with a major refresh and tweaks to the line-up, including a bold new front end and redesigned rear, a Tiguan lease has never looked more tempting.
Read moreVW describes its Tiguan as the ‘ultimate family SUV’, and with an engine and trim level to suit many different lease customers, it’s hard to disagree.
The most recent update saw the Tiguan growing in size, increasing the amount of space available to passengers while boosting the boot capacity up to 652 litres.
That makes leasing a Tiguan a great alternative to SUVs like the Audi Q3, Nissan Qashqai, BMW X1, Skoda Karoq, or the Kia Sportage.
You can enjoy the Tiguan with petrol, diesel, mild hybrid, or petrol plug-in hybrid (PHEV) engines. The PHEV Tiguan now has a generous electric range of up to 62 miles between charges.
Inside the well-appointed cabin of the Tiguan there’s a sophisticated cockpit and infotainment system, with a unique digital, rotary dial in the central console.
The Tiguan’s adaptive chassis control gives you the option of a ‘DCC Pro’ system that boasts two-valve shock absorbers and helps to smooth-out the roughest of roads. A ‘Vehicle Dynamics Manager’ also comes as standard, and which makes subtle adjustments to the suspension and braking to provide a ‘more stable, agile and precise’ drive quality, according to VW.
A Tiguan lease should also be a safe one, with standard systems including lane change assist, autonomous emergency braking, and a rear view camera.
And if sporting performance is what you crave, you’ll need the Tiguan R, which boasts all the sporting fun of a hot-hatch in a more comfortable package.

Volkswagen Tiguan Frequently Asked Questions
In an age where SUV designs are getting more and more out there and radical, the Volkswagen Tiguan eschews such showiness in favour of getting the job done. It’s a classy, practical and comfortable family car that does everything you need it to do. It’s a five-seater, but you can get a seven-seat version called the Tiguan Allspace. It comes with petrol, diesel or plug-in hybrid form, and you can even get a sporty performance model too.
The Tiguan is marketed as a car that sits between volume brands like Ford and Vauxhall and premium cars like the BMW X3 and Audi Q3. That means leasing rates might not be the lowest of the mid-size SUVs, but you can be sure that with Select Car Leasing, you’ll get the most competitive deals and special offers in the country, thanks to our market-leading links with the automotive industry. Check out the full list of Volkswagen Tiguan lease deals to see which model suits you and your budget the best.
The Tiguan is an impressive all-rounder, with space inside for five, a very well made and comfortable interior and lots of the latest technology to keep occupants informed and entertained. There are several trims to choose from, which widens its appeal to different budgets, and a choice of power too, from punchy and efficient petrol and diesels, to the eHybrid plug-in model, which will do up to 62 miles on electric-power only. Then there’s the performance Tiguan R, which is a hot hatch in SUV form. Most models are front-wheel drive to help with efficiency, but there are four-wheel drive models too if you need extra traction.
The Volkswagen Tiguan was reviewed and tested by independent safety organisation Euro NCAP in 2016 and scored the maximum five stars, with a particularly impressive mark for adult occupant safety. All models get an automatic emergency braking system and Lane Assist, which warns you if you veer out of your lane unintentionally. More safety systems are included on higher trim levels. Practicality is a main selling point for the Tiguan, and considering its size it’s very spacious inside, with easy space for five adults. The rear seats slide and recline to maximise legroom or boot space, and there are loads of storage spaces around the cabin. Even with the seats slid back there’s a good-sized boot, which grows further still with the chairs moved forward.
There are four main trim levels to choose from in the Tiguan, starting with the well-specced yet entry-level Life. This rides on 18-inch alloy wheels and features a touchscreen infotainment system with sat-nav, front and rear parking sensors and climate control air conditioning.
Next up is the Elegance model, which has larger 19 inch alloys, a winter pack with heated front seats and steering wheel, and ambient lighting inside. The R-Line has a more sporty exterior look and 20-inch alloy wheels. The performance-focused all-wheel-drive Tiguan R has its own fully-loaded trim level, with a sporty bodykit and lots of standard features.
