Audi Q3 Lease

Part of the 'Q' series of Audi SUVs, the Audi Q3 is a stylish and practical car, available as both a Q3 SUV and swooping coupe Q3 Sportback option.

The Q3 sits between the smaller Q2 and the larger, all-electric Q4 e-tron in the Audi range.

There’s a host of powertrains available, from a 1.5 litre petrol engine with power of 150 PS, to a 2.0 litre diesel unit with power of 200 PS. Audi’s famed ‘Quattro’ all-wheel drive system can also be enjoyed.

Meanwhile there’s also a distinct plug-in hybrid variant of the Q3 - the ‘TFSI e’ - which drives down CO2 emissions while featuring a range of up to 29 miles using electricity alone. That stat will be welcomed by company car lease customers looking to lower their Benefit in Kind (BIK) tax burden.

As Audi itself boasts, the Q3 is the perfect ‘all-rounder’, a vehicle that puts ‘comfort and performance at the centre of every journey’.

Why lease an Audi Q3?

As you’d expect from a premium brand like Audi, the Q3 comes generously equipped as standard.

Base models feature dual-zone climate control, a 10.1 inch infotainment touchscreen with sat-nav, rear parking sensors, and a suite of driver assistance and safety systems including lane departure warning and collision-detecting software.

The rear seats are also capable of sliding forwards and backwards, unlocking an extremely healthy 675 litres of boot space, which is more than you see on some much larger SUVs.

If you want performance, the Audi Q3 can also satisfy that demand. The range-topping, all-wheel drive ‘45 TFSI quattro’ model is underpinned by a 2.0 litre petrol engine with power of 245 PS. It means you can accelerate from 0-62mph in just 5.8 seconds.

Meanwhile there are also frugal diesel powertrains up for grabs.

The ‘35 TDI’ models, for example, will return up to 56 miles to the gallon - which could be perfect for keeping your fuel costs low.

Which Audi Q3 fuel type is right for me?

Diesel, petrol, and plug-in hybrid - there’s an abundance of choice the Audi Q3, whether you opt for the traditional SUV body shape or the more swooping ‘Sportback’ variant.

Diesel

There are two diesel powertrains - the 35 TDI and the 45 TDI - both of which use a 2.0 engine. The 35 TDI generates power of 150 PS and 360 Nm of torque, while the 40 TDI takes power up to 200 PS. Each diesel engine is married to the S tronic auto gearbox.

Petrol

Petrol powertrains for the Audi Q3 are the 35 TFSI, 40 TFSI, and the 45 TFSI. The 35 TFSI can be mated to a six-speed manual gearbox while the 40 and 45 come as automatics.

Plug-in hybrid

The Audi Q3 TFSI e is classed as a distinct model by Audi. It’s a fantastic powertrain that is capable of returning upwards of 150 mpg and travelling 31 miles using electricity alone.

What vehicles are similar to the Audi Q3 that I should consider?

You’re not short of leasing options if you’re looking for a compact. And while the BMW X1 is the Q3’s biggest rival, there are some other strong competitors.

BMW X1 Estate

BMW X1 Estate

The BMW X1 has enjoyed a major update in recent years, giving it a more purposeful look to match the Audi Q3. Like the Q3 TFSI e, the X1 can also be enjoyed as a plug-in hybrid.

The Volvo XC40 is easy on the eye, just like the Audi Q3, and there’s up to 197 PS of power available from the mild-hybrid petrol powertrains.
