Toyota has reinvented and rejuvenated its popular Aygo hatchback, adding rugged SUV styling to the mix and creating the eye-catching Aygo X. Compared to the standard Aygo, the Aygo X is longer, rides higher, and sits on larger 18 inch alloys, giving it a more ‘adventurous’ stance, according to Toyota. It’s also wider than the normal Aygo, providing extra passenger room, and also features a bigger boot, with 231 litres of luggage space.

    It seems car manufacturers are running out of things they can turn into SUVs. First, it was family hatchbacks that had grown off-roady bits. Then proper SUVs had their roofs chopped off at the rear to create a generation of SUV coupes.

    Now, it seems we are changing tiny city cars into SUVs, too. That is the aim of Toyota, which has taken its Aygo, jacked it up a little bit, added some cladding to the exterior and turned it into the Toyota Aygo X.

Sarah Schatynski the agent I had was very professional and provided excellent customer service throughout, explaining the process and sorted out any requests very efficiently, and even called me the day after I had received my vehicle to make sure everything was ok. I received regular updates about my car from others team members both via email and my select car account. In my view a very well run company.
